SeRewire does not show up in the Pro Tools instruments list.
Pro Tools | One and Ultimate | macOS
Description
Users trying to add the SeRewire plugin into a Pro Tools audio track as an Instrument plugin.
Cause
The plugin has been blacklisted and needs to be reset, or there was an issue with the Source-Connect installation.
Actions
If the plugin has been blacklisted by mistake, follow the three steps below:
- Reinstall Source-Connect first.
- Trash your Pro Tools preferences. On Mac, this involves going to ~/Library/Preferences/Avid and deleting the "Pro Tools" folder. On Windows, go to %appdata% > Avid and delete the Pro Tools folder.
- Reboot your computer and restart Pro Tools.
If the issue persists, try reinstalling Source-Connect. SeRewire will be installed again when you follow the installation process. You will then see the plugin in the Instruments list.
