Source-Nexus Gateway only allows users to use the Chrome default audio input as audio inputs

Users are unable to use audio inputs on Source-Nexus Gateway other than the Chrome default audio input

Source-Nexus | Gateway | Chrome v128 and higher

Description

Users on Chrome version 128 or higher can only select the Chrome default audio input as their audio input in the Source-Nexus Gateway.

Some audio input devices fail to initialize, which also cause the Source-Nexus Gateway to revert to an audio device that does work properly (usually, the Chrome default audio input).

Actions

In order to fix this issue:

1. Set your desired audio device in the Chrome microphone privacy settings.
2. Use another Chromium-based web browser such as Opera or Brave.
