How to configure port forwarding on Eero routers

Port forwarding can be configured in Advanced settings in the eero app.

  1. 1. Open the eero app
  2. 2. Tap the Settings tab.
  3. 3. Tap on Network settings.
  4. 4. Tap on Reservations & Port Forwarding
  5. 5. Tap on IPv4 Reservations & Port Forwards
  6. 6. Select your computer
  7. 7. Select Open a Port. A pop-up will appear. Select Save.
  8. 8. Enter 6000-6001 for the port range.
  9. 9. Select UDP for the protocol
  10. 10. Do NOT check the “use a different internal port” button.
  11. 11. Hit the Save button on the top right of the screen to save this setting.
