Description

Source-Connect launches correctly. At some point, it could be during the login, after logging in, or even some minutes after the application has been in use, an error message saying that the audio device was closed is displayed.

Cause

Sound hardware conflict; there's another application using the same sound hardware.

Actions

• If there's another audio application running (Pro Tools, Audacity, etc.) close it. This should stop the message from popping up. If there's no other application, refer to the second action.
• Close any other audio applications before running Source-Connect if they're not necessary. If the user needs to run an audio application like a DAW when using Source-Connect, they will need to use a supported DAW (Pro Tools, Reaper, etc., refer to documentation) and use Source-Connect Link as both input and output for Source-Connect.
