"Recovery has failed" error message on Source-Zip 1.1

Description

After attempting to open a file created on Mac OS Sierra (10.12) using Source-Zip 1.1 on a computer with a newer operating system (10.13 or above), users are getting an error message saying " Recovery has failed. Error code: 256.".

Cause

Source-Zip 1.1 is compatible with Mac operating systems up to and including 10.12.

Attempting to open zipped files in a newer OS version will display the error message above.

Actions

You will need to gain access to a computer with Mac OS 10.12 or lower to unzip the files if the file was compressed in Source-Zip 1.1.
