The following plug-ins failed to load because they are not valid 64 bit AAX plug-ins: Source-Nexus.axxplugin

Source-Nexus I/O | 1.3 | macOS 10.12 

Description

When users attempt to load the Source-Nexus I/O 1.3 plugin into their DAW, they receive an error message saying "The following plug-ins failed to load because they are not valid 64 bit AAX plug-ins: Source-Nexus.axxplugin".

Cause

Either the iLok License Manager is outdated or Source-Nexus I/O was not correctly installed.

Actions

In order to fix the error message:

1. Close your DAW.
2. Open the iLok License Manager application.
3. Click iLok License Manager > Check for Application Updates.
4. Re-open the DAW and try adding Source-Nexus I/O to a track again.

If that does not work, uninstall and reinstall Source-Nexus I/O with the Source-Nexus I/O installer (do not drag and drop the application into the trash).
