There was an error starting a TCP server

This will make the plugin unavailable from the Source-Connect application.

Description

During a Source-Connect 4 session, if users try using the Source-Connect I/O plugin, they get an error message saying “There was an error starting a TCP server”.

Actions

You should not see this error message in the application - if you do, please contact our support team. Please send them the following information:

• Your operating system version (macOS, Windows, and specific versions or bundles).
• Your Source-Connect 4 version.
• The DAW you are using and the specific DAW version.
