Selecting the best Source-Live plan for your needs
This article is part of the Source-Live Pro LL User GuideSource-Live Pro: Low Latency is priced by viewer-hours. We have designed pricing and usage to be very simple and easy to use. Source-Live LL viewer-hours are priced according to the plan you choose. While streaming, the app will let you know how much time you are using. When you use up all the hours, you will be emailed to upgrade your plan so you can continue streaming.
What does a "viewer hour" mean?
As a streamer, you will broadcast your transmission in Source-Live. Any watchers you invite will connect via the Source-Live Gateway by going to https://live.source-elements.com/.
Each hour in Source-Live Pro: LL is per watcher using the Source-Live Gateway. They are not streaming hours. The amount of hours used will depend on the amount of people watching your stream and how many hours they are watching the stream for. Below are two examples of how this works:
- If you have 4 people watching your stream for 15 minutes, you will need 1 Source-Live viewer hour. 4 people x 15 minutes = 1 viewer hour
- If you have 4 people watching your stream for 1 hour, you will need 4 Source-Live viewer hours. 4 people x 1 hour = 4 viewer hours.
Monthly Plans
The different plans you can purchase with Source-Live Pro: Low Latency are Plan 10, Plan 25, Plan 100, Plan 250 and Plan 500. In the table below, you will find details of each subscription plan, the hours included, and the streaming limitations. Emergency Plans
Source Elements also offers an emergency extra hours package with up to 500 hours if you are running out of hours, effective immediately. This subscription type should not replace your usual monthly subscription.

* Streaming limits: your stream will be automatically stopped after the hours mentioned above. You can resume the stream immediately, and your viewers will not be disconnected from the Source-Live Gateway.
** Extra-hour plans are a one-time payment, one-time use purchase - they will not be added monthly to your plan. If not used, the extra hours will expire when your subscription rolls over.
