Getting Started with Source-Nexus Router
This article is a quick guide, which does not include working with other Source-Nexus Suite or Source Elements products at the same time.
- If you haven’t already, make sure you request a Source-Nexus Suite full-featured trial the first time you drop the plugin on your DAW. You will be asked to create a new Source Elements account if you do not have one.
- Log into your account here and download the Source-Nexus Suite.
- Launch Source-Nexus Router.
- Click the “Add" button to add a new route:
- Adjust the name and color assigned to the route.
- Change the number of channels as needed (1 to 16).
- Select your input device (microphone) by clicking the “None” button next to the green “I” (input) icon.
- Select your output device (speakers) buy clicking the “None” button next to the “O” (output) icon.
If you need to customize the routing between the input and output, click the “>” button right next to “ADVANCED” and drag/drop the routes manually as needed:
Once you have your route ready, you can use any of the devices in your audio applications, which will re-route sound as configured in the Router application.
