What’s New?

Source-Nexus Router

  • Support for audio devices with up to 1024 channels (beta).

Fixes

Source-Nexus I/O

  • Fixes an issue where Source-Nexus I/O will reset it’s settings in a session if the iLok license is not present when saving the session.

Source-Nexus Review

  • Removed “dim” text from To Nexus Chat channel in 4 channel view.
  • Keeps system audio channel active even when automatic system audio capture is not enabled.
  • [Standalone] Defaults with automatic system audio capture enabled.
  • [Standalone] Shows an error message when an audio device cannot be loaded.
  • [Standalone] Remembers audio device selection when the audio device not available.
  • [Standalone] Smooth volume change on buffer size or sample rate change.
  • [Standalone] Improvements to audio processing on Windows

Source-Nexus Router

  • Fixes a crash when using an audio device with more than 128 channels

Known Issues

  • Source-Nexus I/O may reset its settings when used on a DSP enabled track in Pro Tools.
  • Source-Nexus I/O will no longer process audio when the iLok license is not present when saving the session and then reopening the session while Pro Tools is still running. Restarting Pro Tools fixes this.
  • Source-Nexus Review system audio channels do not show change in level when dimmed (the signal is still being dimmed though).
  • Source-Nexus Review when “Same as system” is used as the talkback audio device, the output signal will be left channel only instead of left and right. Does not happen when any other talkback audio device is used.

Compatibility

macOS 10.14 - macOS 15 (Intel & Apple silicon)

Windows 10 64-bit - Windows 11

Licensing

All Source-Nexus Suite components require the “Source-Nexus Suite” iLok license which is available as a subscription only, in both monthly and yearly subscription intervals.
