Network conditions naturally vary, and some sessions may experience more instability than usual. To address this, Source-Connect includes a "Resilience" setting, which even further reduces audible glitches during playback that are caused by network instability.

In Source-Connect 4, the resilience setting (currently in Beta) can be accessed by clicking on the gears icon on the top left and accessing the Global Settings panel and checking the SEND panel: 

You will find two options available on the dropdown:

• Off: will use the default (no resilience features).
• On: enables dual streaming, which will maintain two parallel streaming connections. If one connection fails or experiences issues, Source-Connect 4 can switch to the backup - this reducing interruptions and maintaining consistent performance.

When do I enable Resilience?

If your connection parter tells you that they are experiencing degraded audio quality that sounds like missing data. You will need to reconnect after enabling this setting to turn on Resilience.
