This article is part of the Source-Nexus Gateway User Guide
The following checklist is provided to help you troubleshoot your sessions or quickly verify beforehand that everything you need is correctly set up.

- Click “Join Session”.
- In the following screen, enter the passkey for the session and click “Join”.
- Verify your browser has access to your camera and microphone: if you do not wish to use video or audio chat or you do not have such devices available, you can choose that option instead.
- Click “OK”.
When a Source-Nexus Gateway session ends
Once the host ends the session, you will not be automatically removed from the session. You can choose to either leave the session, or close the browser tab at any time.
Using Source-Nexus Gateway as a host
- Open your Source-Nexus Gateway: https://nexus.source-elements.com/
- In the “Login to start a new session” section, click “Login”.
- Enter your Source Elements username and password, then click “Login”.
- Click “Start session”.
- Configure your session settings:
- Open the participants panel to monitor viewers as they arrive and leave.
- Test out your session by opening an incognito tab or a tab on another browser, and joining as a regular user.

Connection Participants Limit
Once you have configured your setup to meet your requirements , you can invite your viewers by providing them with the URL to your Source-Nexus Gateway page. Source-Nexus Gateway can be used with up to 5 users.
Connection Idle Time Limit
When you have been idle on a call (listening to a broadcast without clicking a button or interacting with the touchpad), you will be presented with a message informing you that the session will time out unless you click on a button.
Each individual participant in the call has their own time clock clicking down, so every user will be notified separately; the 2-hour count will be from the time they joined the session.
