Resilience in Source-Connect 4
Network conditions naturally vary, and some sessions may experience more instability than usual. To address this, Source-Connect includes a "Resilience" setting, which even further reduces audible glitches during playback that are caused by network instability. Resilience employs a real-time error correction algorithm that is deployed on both sides of the connection - it also uses an enhanced global server structure to minimize or eliminate the effects of packet loss and jitter that would otherwise cause audible dropouts in the real-time connection.
In Source-Connect 4, the resilience setting (currently in Beta) can be accessed by clicking on the gears icon on the top left and accessing the Global Settings panel and checking the SEND panel:

You will find two options available on the dropdown:
- Off: will use the default (no resilience features).
- On: will enable the feature, as described above.
When do I enable Resilience?
If your connection parter tells you that they are experiencing degraded audio quality that sounds like missing data. You will need to reconnect after enabling this setting to turn on Resilience.
